DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week

  • Shot 66.7 percent (28-of-42) from the field, 36.4 percent (4-of-11) from three and 76.2 percent (16-of-21) from the free throw line
  • Helped the Titans to a 2-1 week and third place finish at the Battle of the Boot hosted by CSI
  • Hit 12-of-18 shots en route to a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double vs. McCook
  • Finished the week with 31 points on 11-of-15 shooting vs. Clarendon

  • Shot 36.4 percent (8-of-22) from the floor and 80.0 percent (8-of-10) from the free throw line
  • Helped Palm Beach State to a 2-0 week with consecutive double-doubles
  • Had 10 points and 17 rebounds vs. Hillsborough; 14 points and 14 rebounds vs. St. Petersburg

  • Shot 48.4 percent (15-of-31) from the field and 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from the free throw line
  • Led the Pirates to a 2-0 week 
  • Tallied 24 points and nine rebounds vs. Miami Dade; had a 19-point, 10-rebound double-double vs. Lawson State

Tripp Watkins

  • Participated in two October events for the Lakehawks
  • At the Atomic City Classic, he placed sixth overall - his highest finish ever with a career-best two round score of +2
  • In a one-round dual match against Eastern Florida State, he earned his first individual win, helping the Lakehawks to a team victory. He shot a 71 (-1) with six birdies and eight pars.

Women's Golfer of the Month

Karlee Gainey

  • Participated in two events and was the low medalist in each
  • At the Snead State Fall Invite, she won the event with a score of +8 while helping the Timberwolves to a fifth-place finish in team scoring
  • At the Jefferson State Women's Fall Invitational, she shot +6 while Florida Gateway placed fourth
  • Currently the top-ranked NJCAA Division II player
