DI Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Leyre Arroyo Sanchez

  • Averaged 8.0 kills and 2.3 digs over three sets
  • In her only match of the week, she set a school-record with 24 kills despite the Titans falling in a hard-fought three-setter to Daytona State
  • For the match, she also recorded seven digs and 2.0 blocks and posted a .458 hitting percentage

  • In her only match of the week, she recorded seven blocks in a straight-set victory over Eastern Florida State

  • Top performances came against Southern Idaho with 38 assists and Salt Lake (43 assists, 12 digs)

  • Also averaged 0.1 assists, 0.2 service aces, 1.5 digs and 0.3 blocks
  • Helped SJR State to a 3-1 week
  • Had two matches with 21+ kills, including a double-double (22 kills, 14 digs) vs. Santa Fe

Men's Soccer Player of the Week

  • All of his points came in the Sharks' 9-1 win over Enterprise State
  • On six shot attempts, Dounkasse found the net three times, and was credited with the game-winner
  • Also assisted on another goal against Enterprise State

Women's Socccer Player of the Week

Mia Johnson

  • Tallied a total of six points over three matches, connecting on three of her four shot attempts
  • Scored a goal in each match for the Pirates, who enjoyed a 3-0 week
  • She scored the game-winner in the final minute in the Pirates' 2-1 win vs. nationally-ranked Jones
  • Was credited with the game-winner in each match of a weekend doubleheader vs. Pasco-Hernando

Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Malik Millet

  • In a loaded field at the Southern Showcase, he posted the top 8K time from the FCSAA's two competing teams
  • His 27:05.89 in the 8K helped Pasco-Hernando State place ahead of Eastern Florida State in the team standings

Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Mei Chiang

Mei Chiang, Florida State College at Jacksonville

  • Continued her strong start to the 2025 season, posting a fourth-place finish in another deep field at the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic
  • Clocked a 19:57.8 in the 5K, helping the Manta Rays to a third-place finish in the team standings
