CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Palm Beach State College's Janiah Suprius was named the NJCAA Division II Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Suprius, a freshman guard from Lake Worth, Fla., has had a big start to the 2025-26 season for the Panthers.
Through her first three games, Suprius averaged 31.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 72.5 percent (37-of-51) from the field, 57.1 percent (4-of-7) from three and 84.2 percent (16-of-19) from the free throw line.
In the season opener vs. Kansas City Kansas, she tallied 29 points then came back with 34 in a win against nationally-ranked Lake Land. Against nationally-ranked Florida SouthWestern, she poured in 31 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds.
Suprius was named the FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week on November 4.
