CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Northwest Florida State College's Khoudia Diagne was named the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Diagne, a freshman forward from Louga, Senegal, averaged 24.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks in two games.
She shot 58.8 percent (20-of-34) from the field, 40.0 percent (4-of-10) from three and 100.0 percent (4-of-4) from the line while leading the Raiders to a 2-0 week.
Diagne recorded 15 points and four rebounds vs. Gulf Coast State then finished the regular season with 33 points on 13-of-20 shooting, six rebounds, four assists and three steals vs. Chipola.
This is Diagne's second NJCAA Player of the Week award. She was named the FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
