CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Northwest Florida State College's Khoudia Diagne was named the NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Diagne, a freshman forward from Louga, Senegal, averaged 15.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals in two games last week for the Raiders.
She shot 52.2 percent (12-of-23) from the field and 75.0 percent (6-of-8) from the line.
Diagne helped Northwest Florida State to a 2-0 week, recording back-to-back double-doubles vs. Eastern Florida State (11 points, 10 rebounds) and St. Petersburg (20 points, 11 rebounds).
Diagne was named the FCSAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
