FCSAA announces DII Softball Awards

2026 Division Two All FCSAA Softball Team

PALATKA, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) is pleased to announce its Division II Softball Awards for the 2026 season.

The 14-member All-FCSAA team, which includes the Player and Pitcher of the Year, was voted on by the FCSAA DII Softball Committee.  

In conjunction with the release of the FCSAA awards, the Sun-Lakes Conference awards were also announced on Wednesday. 


Division II All-FCSAA

FCSAA Division II Player of the Year
Jenelle Cruz, St. Johns River State
Sophomore | INF | Pembroke Pines, Fla.

One of four infielders on the All-FCSAA team...previously named the Sun-Lakes Conference Player of the Year...second in the FCSAA in both home runs (19) and RBI (64)...ranks fourth in on-base percentage (.500) and slugging percentage (.823)...second in runs (66), third in hits (70) and third in doubles (18).

FCSAA Division II Pitcher of the Year
Kiera Carow, South Florida State
Freshman | RHP | Sebastian, Fla.

One of four pitchers on the All-FCSAA team...previously named the Sun-Lakes Conference Pitcher of the Year...posted a record of 9-5 on the year...ranks second in the FCSAA with a 2.17 ERA and is first with 143 strikeouts.

Kierstyn Aumua, State College of Florida
Sophomore | Hau'ula, Hawaii

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...has appeared in 49 games...batting .398 with 12 home runs and 46 RBI, both of which rank seventh in the FCSAA...has scored 36 runs...recorded four stolen bases.

Haley Marker, Florida Gateway
Sophomore | Sanderson, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...her .457 batting average ranks third in the FCSAA...tied for the FCSAA lead in doubles with 19...was third in on-base percentage (.521) and fifth in slugging percentage (.739).

Bree Urban, State College of Florida
Sophomore | Omaha, Neb.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...led the FCSAA in batting average (.503), hits (85), doubles (19) and RBI (77)...second in both on-base percentage (.539) and slugging percentage (.876).

Outfield 

Maya Hegedus, Lake-Sumter State
Sophomore | Cooper City, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...appeared in 49 games...batted .336 with 15 RBI...her 35 stolen bases ranks third in the FCSAA.

Crimson Lawrence, St. Johns River State
Freshman | Cape Coral, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...leads the FCSAA with 22 home runs and is third with 63 RBI...batted .373 and slugged .825...also a dynamo in the circle, posting a 13-3 record and 2.65 ERA.

A'Lana Martinez, State College of Florida
Sophomore | Cooper City, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...second in the FCSAA with a .497 batting average...scored an FCSAA-high 82 runs and led the Association with 10 triples...also the leading threat on the bases with an FCSAA-best 45 stolen bases...led the FCSAA in both on-base percentage (.569) and slugging percentage (.920).

Cailinne Kelly, State College of Florida
Freshman | North Port, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...her .416 batting average ranks fifth in the FCSAA while 69 hits places her fourth...also had three home runs and 47 RBI.

Samara Singh, South Florida State
Sophomore | Orlando, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...appeared in 46 games...batted .287 with one home run and 16 RBI...scored 27 runs and stole three bases.

Haley Ross, Florida State College at Jacksonville
Sophomore | Deland, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...has appeared in 50 games...batting .303 with two home runs and 16 RBI...has scored 37 runs and recorded 13 stolen bases.

Pitcher 

Dava Hoffer, State College of Florida
Freshman | Punta Gorda, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...shares the FCSAA lead with 15 victories (15-4) and also recorded one save...her 2.91 ERA in seventh in the FCSAA...has 68 strikeouts in 103.1 innings pitched.

Alexis Laura, Florida State College at Jacksonville
Sophomore | Bunnell, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...shares the FCSAA lead with 15 victories in the circle (15-10)...also has two saves on the year...ranks second in the FCSAA with 127 strikeouts while pitching an Association-best 163.2 innings in the circle.

Emma Shipley, St. Johns River State
Freshman | Safety Harbor, Fla.

Previously named First-team All-Sun-Lakes Conference...made 21 appearances in the circle, including 17 as a starter...posted a record of 14-5 with a 2.39 ERA...52 strikeouts in 105.1 innings pitched...also slugged 17 home runs, good for third in the FCSAA.
