CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Indian River State College's Emma Eekhoff was named the NJCAA Division I Softball Pitcher of the Week on Wednesday.
Eekhoff, a freshman righthander from Pella, Iowa, was 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA in two appearances for The River last week.
She went the distance for the win in The River's 7-1 victory over Miami Dade. Next up, she struck out 14 over six scoreless innings to earn the win in a 2-1 victory over Central Florida.
In 13 total innings in the circle, she allowed four hits, one run (unearned) and four walks while striking out 23
Eekhoff was named the FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday. This is her second NJCAA Pitcher of the Week award in 2026.
