CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Eastern Florida State College's Misael Cruz Rodriguez was named the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Register, a sophomore guard from San Juan, P.R., averaged 17.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 block in two games for the Titans.
He shot 64.3 percent (9-of-14) from the field, 4-of-6 from three and 92.3 percent (12-of-13) from the free throw line, helping Eastern Florida State to a 2-0 week.
After narrowly missing a double-double (10 points, 9 rebounds) vs. Santa Fe, he recorded a triple-double in an 81-67 win vs. Florida SouthWestern, finishing with 24 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Rodriguez was named the FCSAA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
