CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Eastern Florida State College's Sean Register was named the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Wednesday.
Register, a freshman forward from Cleveland, Ohio, averaged 28.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 0.5 blocks in two games last week.
He shot 67.6 percent (25-of-37) from the field and 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from the line.
Register helped the Titans to a 2-0 week, including a win vs. Daytona State in which he recorded a 30-point, 14-rebound double-double.
In his other game of the week, he shot 13-of-15 from the field en route to 27 points vs. Miami Dade.
Register was named the FCSAA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday and this is his second NJCAA Player of the Week award this season.
