Four-peat! Florida Gateway claims National Championship in All-FCSAA final vs. Daytona State

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. - Florida Gateway College claimed its fourth straight NJCAA Football National Championship with a 53-13 win over FCSAA rival Daytona State College.

The Timberwolves finished the 2026 season with a record of 18-1 after going a perfect 4-0 in the National Tournament. Florida Gateway outscored its four opponents 253-19, averaging 63 points per game. 

In pool play, the Timberwolves outscored Harford and Bryant & Stratton (Wisc.) by a score of 125-6, which earned Florida Gateway the No. 1 seed in bracket play. There, they met up with Bryant & Stratton once again and rolled to a 75-0 win. 

Daytona State matched Florida Gateway's 2-0 record in pool play, defeating Roxbury and the College of DuPage. The Falcons won a rematch with DuPage, 57-0, in the semifinals to earn their fourth meeting of 2026 with Florida Gateway. 

Florida Gateway's London Jenkins was named the event's Most Valuable Player and Ricky Hufty was named NJCAA Coach of the Year.
