Three-peat! Florida Gateway claims another Women's Flag Football title

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Florida Gateway College won its third straight NJCAA Women's Flag Football Championship on Thursday, defeating Daytona State College, 68-13, in an All-FCSAA final.

Both teams dominated the competition in pool play - Florida Gateway beat Pratt and Hesston by a combined score of 138-6; Daytona State knocked off Bryant & Stratton (Wisc.) and Hesston. The Timberwolves' point differential gave them the No. 1 in bracket play, where they took care of business against Pratt to the tune of a 67-0. Meanwhile, Daytona State beat Bryant & Stratton for a second, setting up a rematch of the FCSAA Championship Game just two weeks ago.

Florida Gateway's Tremesha Harris was named the Most Valuable Player for the 2025 NJCAA Women's Flag Football Invitational and Timberwolves' head coach Ricky Hufty was named 2025 NJCAA Coach of the Year.
