TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in baseball, softball and beach volleyball.
FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events March 23-29)
Congratulations to the following student-athletes who excelled in competition during the previous week:
- FCSAA DI Baseball Player of the Week: Jose Correa, Central Florida
- FCSAA DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Colton Sampson, Seminole State
- FCSAA DI Softball Player of the Week: Caroline Mito, Miami Dade
- FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week: Alexandra Solo, Florida SouthWestern

- The FCSAA extends its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of longtime College of Central Florida Director of Athletics Bob Zelinski, who passed away Thursday, March 26.
- The FCSAA Team Store has re-opened, courtesy of BSN Sports, and will remain open for the rest of the spring semester, providing access to FCSAA-branded gear throughout the winter and spring championship seasons.

- Beach Volleyball
- Palm Beach State clinched the No. 1 seed in the upcoming FCSAA Beach Volleyball Championship with wins over St. Johns River State (5-0) and State College of Florida (4-1) to finish FCSAA regular season play with a perfect 8-0 record. Lake-Sumter State (6-2) will be the No. 2 seed followed by St. Johns River State, State College of Florida and Florida State College at Jacksonville.
- Tennis
- Women: In the most recent ITA rankings, defending national champion Hillsborough sits atop the NJCAA poll while St. Petersburg is ranked No. 5. Those teams will play a head-to-head match for the FCSAA Championship on Friday, April 17 in Tampa, Fla.
- Men: In the most recent ITA rankings, Eastern Florida State is ranked No. 3.
- Flag Football
- Florida Gateway returned from a two-week break on Saturday, defeating the College of DuPage, 74-0, and Lagrange College, 66-0. The Timberwolves are 10-1 and riding a four-game winning streak heading into Wednesday's rematch with FCSAA foe Daytona State. The Falcons lost their lone game last week, falling 13-12 to UCF, but rebounded to beat the College of DuPage, 46-14, on Monday afternoon.
- Track & Field
- Lake-Sumter State's 4x800 men's relay team of Issa Issaku, Elijah Palmer, Spencer Palmer and Noah Kaegi qualified for the NJCAA Track & Field Championships during Saturday's UCF Knights Invite.
