TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in baseball, softball and women's flag football.


FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events March 16-22)

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who excelled in competition during the previous week:

  • FCSAA DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Kaiden Lopez, Central Florida
  • FCSAA DI Softball Player of the Week: Annalyn Duncan, Eastern Florida State
  • FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week: Zoe Yzaguirre, Florida SouthWestern
  • FCSAA DII Baseball Player of the Week: Vance Celiberti, Pasco-Hernando State
  • FCSAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Jack Johnson, Lake-Sumter State
  • FCSAA DII Softball Player of the Week: Briana Browder, Pasco-Hernando State

  • The FCSAA Team Store has re-opened, courtesy of BSN Sports, and will remain open for the rest of the spring semester, providing access to FCSAA-branded gear throughout the winter and spring championship seasons.
  • Baseball
    • DI rankings: (5) Chipola, (6) Florida SouthWestern, (17) Northwest Florida State, (23) Central Florida, (RV) State College of Florida
    • DII rankings: (5) Pasco-Hernando State, (14) Lake-Sumter State, (16) St. Johns River State, (20) Palm Beach State
  • Softball
    • DI rankings: (3) Northwest Florida State, (4) Florida SouthWestern, (6) Santa Fe, (9) Eastern Florida State, (11) Indian River State, (12) Seminole State, (13) Miami Dade, (21) Gulf Coast State, (22) Daytona State
    • DII rankings: (7) St. Johns River State, (11) State College of Florida, (RV) Florida State College at Jacksonville
  • Men's Golf
    • DI: Palm Beach State won the rain-shortened Stitch Golf/Sandhills Flyers Spring Intercollegiate Event with a team score of 1-over par, 14 strokes better than Methodist University. The Panthers' Carter Brooks finished atop the individual leadership with a 70. 
  • Women's Golf
    • DI: Eastern Florida State placed sixth out of 13 teams at the Oldfield Intercollegiate hosted by the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Mila Tang was the Titans' top finisher with a score of +7, which tied for eighth. Seminole State finished tenth at the Magnolia Collegiate, hosted by the University of South Alabama. The Raiders' top performer was Asitha Ashok, who tied for 14th with a score of +11.
