TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in baseball, softball, women's tennis and beach volleyball.
FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events March 9-15)
Congratulations to the following student-athletes who excelled in competition during the previous week:
- FCSAA DI Baseball Player of the Week: Marvin Montenegro, Polk State
- FCSAA DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Jay Jung, Central Florida
- FCSAA DI Softball Player of the Week: Kate Luyten, Pensacola State
- FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week: Reagan Roberts, Chipola
- FCSAA DII Baseball Player of the Week: Noah Morales, Lake-Sumter State
- FCSAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Braden Hansen, Florida State College at Jacksonville
- FCSAA DII Softball Player of the Week: Jenelle Cruz, St. Johns River State
- FCSAA DII Softball Pitcher of the Week: Crimson Lawrence, St. Johns River State

FCSAA Sports Roundup
- The FCSAA Team Store has re-opened, courtesy of BSN Sports, and will remain open for the rest of the spring semester, providing access to FCSAA-branded gear throughout the winter and spring championship seasons.
- The FCSAA Championship Store is also available through March 23 and provides access to tournament t-shirts or the FCSAA Champions Tees for winter sports.
- Men's Basketball
- DI: For the first time, the FCSAA has four teams in the field in Hutch, led by FCSAA Champion Chipola, who is the No. 5 seed. The Indians are joined in the 24-team field by (11) Northwest Florida State, (14) Gulf Coast State and (17) Daytona State.
- DII: FCSAA Champion Palm Beach State garnered the No. 2 seed in Danville and will open play in the NJCAA DII Men's Basketball Championship on Tuesday, March 17.
- Women's Basketball
- DI: Three teams from Florida will vie for the National Champions trophy in Lake Charles, La., led by FCSAA Champion Gulf Coast State, who is the No. 11 seed in the 24-team field. They are joined by (4) Northwest Florida State and (14) Chipola.
- Baseball
- DI rankings: (2) Chipola, (5) Florida SouthWestern, (14) Northwest Florida State, (23) State Colleg eof Florida, (RV) Central Florida
- DII rankings: (2) Pasco-Hernando State, (12) Palm Beach State, (16) St. Johns River State, (20) Lake-Sumter State, (24) Florida State College at Jacksonville
- Softball
- DI rankings: (3) Northwest Florida State, (4) Florida SouthWestern, (6) Santa Fe, (9) Indian River State, (10) Eastern Florida State, (11) Seminole State, (17) Miami Dade, (20) Daytona State, (23) Gulf Coast State
- DII rankings: (8) St. Johns River State, (18) State College of Florida, (21) Florida State College at Jacksonville, (24) Lake-Sumter State
- Men's Golf
- DI: Eastern Florida State placed second at the Glenlakes Invitational, led by Sean Jacoby who placed second after shooting a course-record 62 in the final round.
- Women's Golf
- DI: Daytona State placed 14th at the Valspar Augusta Invitational. The Falcons' Cambree Hodge and Alana Kutt each shot +13, tying for 51st in the individual scoring.
- DII: Florida Gateway's Karlee Gainey won the Jefferson State Women's Spring Invitational with a score of +2. Gainey continues to be the top-ranked DII women's player in the NJCAA.
- Women's Flag Football
- In the first head-to-head meeting of the 2026 season, Florida Gateway defeated Daytona State, 51-7, on March 11.
- Track & Field
- A quartet of Lake-Sumter State Lakehawks qualified for the NJCAA Championships while participating in the Embry-Riddle Eagle Invite: Spencer Palmer (1500m), Jaden Miller (long jump), Judson Nichols-Webb (javelin), Oksanna Smith (400m hurdles)
