TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida College System Activities Association has announced its Weekly Awards in baseball, softball, women's flag football and golf.


FCSAA Weekly Awards (for all events March 30-April 5)

  • FCSAA DI Softball Pitcher of the Week: Savannah Carter, Northwest Florida State
  • FCSAA DII Baseball Player of the Week: Thomas Bly, St. Johns River State
  • FCSAA DII Baseball Pitcher of the Week: Ryan Whitaker, St. Johns River State
  • FCSAA DII Softball Player of the Week: A'Lana Martinez, State College of Florida

  • The FCSAA Team Store has re-opened, courtesy of BSN Sports, and will remain open for the rest of the spring semester, providing access to FCSAA-branded gear throughout the winter and spring championship seasons.
  • Baseball
    • DI rankings: (3) Chipola, (8) Florida SouthWestern, (20) Central Florida, (22) Northwest Florida State, (23) Gulf Coast State
    • DII rankings: (10) Lake-Sumter State, (12) Pasco-Hernando State, (13) St. Johns River State
  • Softball
    • DI rankings: (2) Northwest Florida State, (3) Florida SouthWestern, (4) Santa Fe, (9) Indian River State, (10) Eastern Florida State, (16) Miami Dade, (18) Seminole State, (22) Daytona State, (25) Gulf Coast State
    • DII rankings: (7) State College of Florida, (11) St. Johns River State
  • Flag Football
    • Florida Gateway defeated Daytona State, 25-7, last Wednesday to sweep the two-game regular season series with the Falcons. The Timberwolves will be the designated No. 1 seed and home team when the squads meet for the FCSAA Championship on April 24 at Daytona State.
