Miami Dade trio leads volleyball All-Americans

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (December 4, 2019) - Miami Dade College led a strong Region 8 contingent on the NJCAA Volleyball All-America teams.

Sophomore outside hitter Yaniris Miller-Green was one of three first-team All-Americans from Region 8. She was joined by Polk State College outside hitter Manuela Ibarguen and Hillsborough Community College outside hitter Isabel Martin. 

Miami Dade's Camila De La Rosa was named Second-team All-America while teammate Camila De la Rosa and Daytona State College's Bruna Avila were named honorable mention. 

Gulf Coast State College's Emma Richards added to her strong list of accolades with a selection to the NJCAA Division II Volleyball All-America tea.
