Polk State cracks NJCAA baseball poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (April 20, 2016) - Polk State College made its season debut in the national rankings when the NJCAA released its newest Murucci Sports Division I Baseball Poll.

Polk State earned a No. 18 ranking, the same spot held last week by defending national champion Northwest Florida State College. The Raiders fell out of the poll this week. 

Three other schools from Region 8 are ranked in this week's poll. 

Santa Fe College, last week's No. 1 team, fell two spots to No. 3

Chipola College slipped five spots from No. 3 to No. 8.

St. Johns River State College moved up one spot to No. 12.
