NWF State heads to Grand Junction with No. 14 ranking

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (May 20, 2015) - Northwest Florida State College made its first appearance in the NJCAA Division I Baseball Poll on Wednesday, earning a No. 14 ranking in the season's final poll.

Northwest Florida State swept its way through the NJCAA Gulf District Tournament en route to its first-ever trip to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colo.

The Raiders are one of three teams from Region 8 in the final poll - St. Johns River State College, who ended the season as the No. 1 team in the FCSAA Baseball Coaches' Poll, ends the season ranked No. 4. Chipola College is one spot ahead of Northwest Florida State at No. 13.

Palm Beach State College received votes. 

Meanwhile, in the NJCAA Division II Baseball Poll, Pasco-Hernando State College ended the season ranked No. 20.
